Leominster Tourism

Set in the north of the rural West Midlands county of Herefordshire, Leominster is a particularly charming market town that has managed to retain an authentic old world character. This is not just thanks to the beautiful old buildings in Leominster, the narrow cobbled lanes, and the patchwork countryside dotted with cows, sheep and the odd medieval castle, regularly criss-crossed by horse and hound and hugged by cyclists on a Cider Route trail, nor the forests and the apple orchards that produce Herefordshire’s famed Ciders. It’s as much thanks to the local people who treasure the ‘old England’ and value life in a town where the butcher still delivers to your door and everyone knows your name, where poetry is celebrated and where you’ll find a traditional English Pub on almost every corner – serving local cider of course. Leominster and the surrounding county of Herefordshire offer visitors a visually breath-taking step back in time, but don’t let the gentle pace of life here fool you; there is much to do and much to see. There are many tourism attractions in and around Leominster, one of England’s loveliest tourist attractions in itself.
