Colwall to Ledbury, Herefordshire, England
This is a nice easy linear walk of roughly 7 miles (11km) from Colwall Station to Ledbury Station. The views along the way are spectacular, so don’t forget to pack a camera. The walk should take you the morning (about half a day) and is suitable for children. It’s best to take the train to Colwall Station and then walk to Ledbury. Colwall is easy to get to from London, Birmingham or Hereford (direct service).

Directions:
Starting at the Colwall Station, cross the railway line to the east side on the footpath, head up the hill, go through the gate and up the first flight of steps. You’ll find yourself on a wooded path that goes right (south). Continue south along this path and out to Evendine Lane. From there, cross Evendine Lane and walk up the hill eastwards on a path that leads you through an orchard and across a stream.
Continue for about two miles and then cross the main road at Wynds Point (be careful at this crossing) walk into Eastnor Park by the lodge house and continue on the made-up the track for about 75m. Here, turn off the path out of Eastnor on the footpath towards the ridgeway
Walk south along the ridgeway, down through Eastnor park to the end of the track at Eastnor Church. Follow the footpath that runs alongside the church and go up the hill through Dead Womans Lane into the woods above Ledbury.
Head down the woods into Ledbury and along Homend through town and up to the station. Trains go every hour back to Colwall or west to Hereford.
